The Priest is stating a well known Christian fact, human beings have love because of God, love comes from God. He is not saying you don't have to believe in God. His whole purpose in life is to spread the Good News, he clearly understands the messages of our Lord Christ.

The love the Bible speaks about is the love Christ had for us, that is the salvation of God. Not secular love as he is stating.

So gods gift of blindness to me was given me to preach love and create an impact. I know it's only a 1 min excerpt, but there's a real problematic direction with this message unless it considers the rest of the passage, because he's saying that without God, it's fine if they're loving. But the rest of 1 John 4 points out that not knowing God is a real and serious problem.
